Due to the risk of flooding and mudslides as the storm ramps up on Thursday, the Los Angeles Fire Department issued evacuation warnings for areas near recent burn zones.

The warnings will take effect at 7 a.m. Thursday for the following areas:
- Palisades Fire area: the Getty Villa area, Highlands near the burn areas, Bienvenida area near Temescal Canyon Park, Reseda Blvd./Marinette Rd. near Will Rogers State Park, and Mandeville Canyon above Tanners Rd.
- Sunset Fire area: east and south of Runyon Canyon
- Hurst Fire area: Olive Ln. in the Oakridge Mobile Home Park

LAFD officials say residents whose homes are at high risk will be contacted directly about mandatory evacuation orders.
In Orange County, evacuation warnings will go into effect at 8 a.m. Thursday in areas near the Airport Fire burn scar. The warning covers Trabuco Canyon, Hot Springs Canyon, Bell Canyon, Long Canyon, and Modjeska Canyon.
