Modjeska Canyon, Williams Canyon, & Silverado Canyon are under mandatory evacuation orders, according to the OC Fire Authority PIO.
Santiago Canyon Road is closed to through traffic from toll road 241 to Modjeska Grade Road.

Evacuation orders will be in effect in a couple of hours in Silverado Canyon due to mudslides that have covered roads leaving cars stuck and impacting some homes.
Orange County sheriff's department Sergeant Dennis Breckner tells KNX that people near Silverado Canyon Road, Modjeska and Williams canyons will be told to leave.
There are no reported injuries right now and no one needed to be rescued. It's unclear how many homes and cars are impacted or what kind of damage, if any, has hit the homes and cars.
The slide occurred in the area of Grundy Way and Anderson Way sometime before 8 a.m.
