Fire crews responded to 6095 W. Selma Ave., between Sunset and Hollywood boulevards, at 5:15 a.m. Saturday where they found flames coming from the attic and rear of the one-story residential complex, LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey said.
The American Red Cross will assist four residents who were displaced with their temporary housing needs, Humphrey said.
It took 40 firefighters 23 minutes to extinguish the flames. No injuries were reported.
