A fire damaged a building on a commercial property that includes The Baked Potato jazz lounge in Studio City Tuesday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters were sent to 3787 N. Cahuenga Blvd. at 5:28 a.m. and doused the flames in 17 minutes, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
"Firefighters found a detached A/V room with fire inside behind the main building, with flames threatening the commercial (building)," Prange said in a statement. "Crews quickly deployed hose lines to the rear and extinguished the flames, keeping them from extending inside the main portion of the business."
The property includes The Baked Potato jazz lounge, according to Fox11.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
