A fire damaged a duplex in the Florence area of the county Thursday, but no one was hurt.

Firefighters sent to the 200 block of East 66th Street at 10:18 a.m. extinguished the flames in the attic of the single-story building in 26 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
