A fire damaged a house in the Woodland Hills area Friday.
Firefighters sent to the 4900 block of North Winnetka Avenue at 12:20 p.m. Friday doused the flames in the two-story building in 17 minutes, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

"Thankfully, the residents were not home and no one was injured," Prange said in a statement.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
