Officials say the debris presents safety and environmental risks, and the cleanup is urgent before summer tides arrive on the coast.
The county plans to try other ways to reach out to the property owners who haven’t responded about cleanup.
The deadline to submit right-of-entry forms for free debris removal by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has been extended to April 15. Information is available here.
