A Fire Investigation Supervisor from the Ontario Fire Department told Key News Network that the fire was fully involved when the crews reached to the scene.

With five fire engines and two trucks, the first responders were able to knockdown the fire, he added.

The investigation for the cause was still ongoing at the time and no injuries were reported.

Located within the John Galvin Park, Jay Littleton is over 80 years old and has been a prominent location, be it hosting a Little League team or a film crew.

The field has appeared in popular movies like "Eight Men Out," "The Babe Ruth Story" and "A League of Their Own," according to the City of Ontario.
