Crews extinguished a house fire that spread to nearby brush in the Hollywood Hills Tuesday morning.
The fire was reported at 8481 W Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood.
The fire spread to three acres of vegetation and created a thick plume of smoke in the neighborhood that was visible for miles.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire in about 40 minutes despite it's rapid spread during the dangerous winds conditions.
