WESTLAKE (CNS) - Firefighters extinguished a structure fire in a single-family home today in Westlake, authorities announced.
The fire was reported in a one-story vacant home located at 162 N. Reno St. on Monday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It took 52 firefighters 40 minutes to extinguish the flames inside of the home.
One firefighter was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after falling through the floor, the LAFD reported.
All nearby structures were protected.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
