Fog and drizzly conditions rolled into parts of Los Angeles Wednesday and coastal areas are expected to remain overcast throughout the day, the National Weather Service said.

The marine layer brought light rain to the beach communities in Los Angeles and Orange counties Wednesday. Occasionally breezy conditions are expected for the rest of the week.
Highs are expected to be in the 60s at the beach Wednesday and for the rest of the week, low 70s inland and across the valleys and the low 80s in the desert.
Cooler temperatures and light rain are in the forecast through Sunday.
