Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Deborah Brazil also ordered Nnaemeka Ezenagu, 56, to serve three years on probation, according to Deputy District Attorney Casey Higgins.
Ezenagu ran Quality of Life Services Inc., which worked with developmentally disabled people who qualified for Regional Center services.
Ezenagu -- who pleaded no contest Aug. 31 -- has already paid $640,000 in restitution to the California Department of Developmental Services, according to the prosecutor. The remaining $991,456 is required to be paid during Ezenagu's probationary period in payments of at least $10,000 a month, Higgins said.
Three other charges against Ezenagu were dismissed as a result of his plea.
