VENTURA, Calif. (KNX) – Bijan Nickroo, A former Simi Valley High School teacher and coach charged with sex crimes against multiple students, entered a no-contest plea today, according to Ventura County District Attorney Erik Nasarenko.
Nickroo was charged with successfully luring a minor under 16 into oral copulation, possession of child pornography, and multiple counts of other child pornography crimes.
According to the lawsuit, Nickroo "catfished" dozens of teenage boys, using fake online profiles to send sexually suggestive messages and obtain photos and videos of the victims' private parts.
Nickroo was eventually reported to police after one defendant informed his parents of a meeting Nickroo arranged in his office on the Simi Valley High School campus, where the defendant engaged in oral sex with the victim.
During the Simi Valley Police Department's investigation, 28 victims were identified, but the D.A. believes there may be more who have yet to come forward.
Nickroo is scheduled for sentencing on January 11, 2023. He's facing five years in state prison.
