
SANTA MONICA, Calif. (KNX) — Authorities were looking for a 14-year-old girl Wednesday who was reported missing in Santa Monica after police believe she was taken by her mother.
Isabela Belani was last seen at around 4 p.m. on Jan. 11 during a planned visit with her 52-year-old mother, Shari Jackowitz, according to a California Highway Patrol missing persons advisory issued on behalf of the Santa Monica Police Department.
Belani is described as five feet, five inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a hoodie, a gray shirt, a gray jacket, and black pants.
Her mother is described as five feet, eight inches tall, weighing 127 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Jackowitz was believed to be driving a black 2019 Audi S7 with the Florida license plate DISJ14.
Anyone with information on Isabela’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
