From day one of the trial, Dr. Peter Grossman has been in the courtroom as his wife stands trial for the hit-and-run killing of 11-year-old Mark Iskander and his 8-year-old brother, Jacob.

On the witness stand Tuesday, he testified that his wife, Rebecca Grossman, was almost inconsolable, crying, trembling, and incredibly emotional when he picked her up from where she'd been detained after the collision.

Dr. Grossman also acknowledged under questioning by the defense that she is not the victim here, not even close.

The prosecution has alleged that Grossman was going 81 on a 45-mile-per-hour street seconds before the deadly crash and 73 when the boys were hit.

Dr. Grossman testified that despite having been the passenger in his wife's care hundreds of times, he doesn't recall her going over the speed limit.
