High school coach offered teenager drugs, alcohol in exchange for naked Snapchat photos: police

Police are asking additional victims and witnesses to come forward.

LOS ANGELES (KNX) – Los Angeles deputies arrested a Pasadena man Friday who offered a 13-year-old girl drugs and alcohol if she gave him explicit photos and videos of herself.

Alexander Miles, 42, is facing three counts of lewd acts on a child under age 14 and one count of using a minor for sex acts, the department said. His bail was set for $340,000.

Miles used to a be a high school basketball coach for schools in the San Gabriel Valley, as well as a high school basketball referee in the Los Angeles area, according to deputies.

The victim told deputies that Miles contacted her on Snapchat in October and November 2021. Deputies later found out Miles contacted many females on the social media app.

Investigators said they’re looking for additional victims.
