
LOS ANGELES (KNX) — A woman who suffered an injury on Mount Hollywood was rescued by air on Saturday.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to a call at the Griffith Park peak Saturday morning. They later pulled the stranded woman to a rescue helicopter after she suffered an ankle injury while hiking.

The woman was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The hiker’s identity has not yet been disclosed by authorities.
