The annual Hollywood Christmas Parade returns on Sunday, December 1st, to kick off the holiday season. This iconic event promises larger-than-life character balloons, celebrity appearances, and live performances – all while supporting a worthy cause.

The event supports the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, a program that collects new toys for underprivileged children. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate at the designated drop-off point: the lobby of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

Last year alone, the Toys for Tots program collected an impressive 21.3 million toys nationwide, bringing joy to 7.9 million children.

The parade starts at 6:00 pm on December 1st and continues until 8:00 pm with this year's Grand Marshal, actor Jeremy Renner, leading the way.

In preparation for temporary road closures around Hollywood Boulevard, officials are encouraging people to consider taking public transportation.
