The travel influencer involved in the crash that killed an 83-year-old woman in West Hollywood has been charged with murder as he lies in the hospital with severe injuries suffered weeks after the wreck.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office confirmed Garrett Bruno is also facing reckless driving charges in the crash on Fountain Avenue in early October that sent the victim's car flying through a parking garage gate, killing her and seriously hurting her husband.

Days later, Bruno was seen in a video published by the Daily Mail snorting white powder on the street near the scene. He claimed on Instagram that it was prescription ketamine; however, the clinic named in his post told KNX News it does not prescribe ketamine in powder form.
Detectives were waiting for the results of drug tests before finalizing charges, but it's not clear what those results revealed. Law enforcement sources tell KNX News deputies went to Bruno's home Friday with a warrant to arrest him but discovered he was hospitalized with severe injuries.
The Daily Mail reported it was a scooter accident in late October that landed Bruno in the hospital in bad shape.
