Kevin Ryder is back at KROQ.
Starting Wednesday, the Radio Hall of Fame inductee will be back in the KROQ booth weekdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“They asked me when I wanted to come back and I said April Fool's for sure, because we did a bunch of April Fool's pranks when we were on the air,” he told KNX News. “It felt like I was coming home. It really did. I spent over half of my life at that radio station.”
“The Kevin & Bean Show,” co-hosted with Gene “Bean” Baxter, was the longest-running morning show in the country until its end in 2020. The show’s influence earned Ryder an induction into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2019.
