John Wall is headed west.
Wall and the Rockets have reached a buyout agreement. The 31-year-old has agreed to "shave $6.5 million off of his $47.4 million salary," according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.
Meanwhile, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN says that while Wall is drawing interest from multiple teams, the expectation is that he's going to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.
The former No. 1 overall pick didn't play this past season, but did average 20.6 points per game for the Rockets in 40 games during the 2020-21 season.
