A judge ruled Monday that the LA County Sheriff's Department deputies, who allegedly took photos at the Kobe Bryant crash site, can be named.

The names of the four deputies will be given to his widow, Vanessa Bryant.

"Attorneys for the LASD and Los Angeles County wanted to keep the deputies' names and ranks sealed, arguing that "hackers may attempt to seek out and gain access to the individual deputies' devices to locate any photographs and publish them," according to court documents in a CNN story." Bryant had called for the relase of the names last month.

Vanessa Bryant also shared an Instagram post about the issue:

Last month the National Transportation Safety Board announced the final results of their investigation into the crash that killed Bryant, his daughter and seven others in January 2020.

Bryant has talked about the loss of her husband and daughter and has also said their three other daughters, Natalia, 18, Bianka, 4, and 20-month-old Capri, are the reason she gets up every morning, and they help her through the pain.
