GOLDEN: KCON LA POOLSIDE K-POP KICKOFF PARTY
KCON weekend is getting an early start with a poolside party in Downtown Los Angeles.
The Hallyuverse is hosting GOLDEN at Level 8, with K-pop DJs, music videos, fan sing-alongs and themed drinks overlooking the city.
The party starts at 6 p.m. Thursday and continues into Friday.

PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
The Phantom has left Los Angeles and moved down to Orange County for a few weeks before continuing its North American tour.
Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera" is now playing at Segerstrom Hall in Costa Mesa.
The production tells the story of young soprano Christine Daaé and the mysterious masked musical genius living beneath the Paris Opera House.
The Orange County run continues through August 30.

COMO LA FLOR BAND: A TRIBUTE TO SELENA
Selena fans can spend Thursday night dancing under the summer sky in Orange County.
Como La Flor Band, a tribute to Selena, takes the stage as part of the free OC Parks Summer Concert Series at Mile Square Regional Park.
The event begins at 5 p.m., with live music starting at 6. Jessica Vines opens the show.
Admission and parking are free. Bring a blanket or chair for seating on the grass.
