In addition to receiving vote-by-mail ballots, voters can cast or drop off their ballots at any vote centers throughout the city and county of Los Angeles. Some early vote centers will open on Feb. 24, with more centers set to open March 2 through 5.

All voters in California who registered by Feb. 20 will automatically be sent a vote-by-mail ballot.

Voters can also securely drop off their vote-by-mail ballots at any of the ballot drop box locations through Election Day, or mail their ballots in.

To find the nearest vote center or ballot drop-box location, go to https://clerk.lacity.gov/clerk-divisions/elections.

Eligible L.A. County residents who missed the registration deadline, Feb. 20, can still vote at any vote center. Under the state's election law, conditional voter registration allows a prospective voter to conditionally register and cast a ballot.

Information on conditional voter registration can be found at lavote.gov.

While the city conducts the candidate filing portion of the elections, the county's Registrar-Recorder will administer the elections.
