As LA County gets ready to expand vaccination eligibility to all residents 16 and older supply is going down.
The county expects to get just 323,000 doses next week. That's 74,000 fewer than this week.
Vaccination restrictions are being lifted on Thursday.
The majority of the county's shipment will be set aside for second dose shots, which could make it even tougher for the newly eligible to score an appointment.
But additional doses are coming from the state and federal governments.

"Taken together we estimate that well over 500,000 doses of vaccine will be allocated to vaccination sites across the county next week," says Dr. Paul Simon, who is with the county's Department of Public Health. "There is that potential for a real rush and we are expecting that to some degree."
Simon's urging people to be patient, saying demand for appointments may run high for "several weeks."
