The rain is tapering off, but the storm is far from over, especially for La Habra Heights, where they are battling landslides and unstable roads.
KNX News' Emily Valdez reports seeing water draining underneath the road, causing parts of it to crumble away.
One local told Valdez, "There's some houses that the hills have become unstable. They're being undermined by too much water and lots of soil saturation."

He also pointed out a lot of traffic on the roads that shouldn't be up there, saying, "The city even posted signs that said, you know, local traffic only people aren't listening to that."
There are three road closure signs at Hacienda and West Road, and as Valdez reported from the scene, she witnessed drivers going around them - primarily trucks.
