Los Angeles and Orange counties can move into the less restrictive tier, according to data from California Public Health officials Tuesday.
Orange County will move into the orange tier from the red tier Wednesday. This is as COVID-19 cases go down and more vaccine rollout is taking place in both counties.
LA County reopenings won't happen until Monday.
That would mean more people could dine indoors, go to movie theaters and more people would be allowed into amusement parks too. Churches, movie theaters and restaurants would be able to increase indoor capacity from 25 percent to 50 percent Wednesday. Retail stores and shopping malls could move to 100 percent capacity.
However, it may take a few more days for LA County to proceed with reopening.
When it comes to baseball games, Dodger Stadium can sell more tickets and stadium capacity increases to 33 percent in the orange tier.
In Orange County, Angels Stadium and Disneyland would be allowed to bring in more people as well.
Disneyland reopens later on in April. Universal Studios reopens on April 16. Even bars, that don’t serve food, could reopen, outdoors only.
