A new shelter-in-place order was issued for the neighborhood in Boyle Heights around that huge warehouse that burned on Wednesday.
Officials with the Los Angeles Fire Department say it has to ventilate smoke from inside the building. It’s expected to last less than an hour.
The area under the order now is east of Lorena St., between the 5 Freeway and Washington Blvd., and west of Indiana St.
Residents may see smoke in the area near the 5 Freeway.
