Human remains were discovered Tuesday at a home in the North Hills, where Los Angeles police were investigating the case of a missing person who vanished over the summer.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department and reports from the scene, the remains were found at a home in the 16200 block of Community Court between Woodley Avenue and Woodley Place.

Details surrounding the discovery were limited, but police said investigators believe the human remains are connected to a missing person case from June.
Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner officials were also at the scene.
