LAPD releases video of fatal South LA hit-and-run

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Police Wednesday released video of a hit-and-run collision that killed a 23-year-old bicyclist in South Los Angeles.

Inmer Samuel Cruz was crossing Main Street on 43rd Street around 10:40 p.m. on April 13 when he was struck by a silver 2008-13 Mercedes-Benz C230 or C330 heading eastbound on Main Street, police said. The driver continued traveling southbound on Main Street without stopping to render aid, police said.

A reward of up to $50,000 is available to the public for the identification, arrest, and conviction or resolution through civil compromise of a fatal hit-and-run, police said.

Anyone with information regarding the fatal hit-and-run collision is urged to call LAPD Central Traffic Division Officer Balderas or Detective Campos at 213-833-3713. Tipsters who choose to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
