Police responded to a home in the Westchester area on Friday to check out a suspicious package found outside a home.

Members of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Bomb Squad responded to a home in the 7500 block of Dunfield Ave.

KNX News' Jon Baird reported that a pro-Palestinian demonstration took place outside the home, which belonged to a member of the UC Board of Regents.

The protest reportedly began around 5:30 a.m. and after the group left when the police were called, a flyer was left that indicated that the university system invests a billion dollars in weapons manufacturing and demands that the UC Regents divest now.

This is a developing story.
