Authorities are asking for information leading to the arrest of a man suspected of violently attacking and stabbing another man in Panorama City.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the alleged attack occurred around 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 20 outside a video store in the 14700 block of Parthenia Street. The victim was standing inside of the video store when the suspect challenged him to a fight.
Police said the victim's ankle was fractured, so he couldn't stand. Video released by the LAPD showed the suspect, armed with a knife and allegedly stab the victim while he was on the ground.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to a local area hospital in critical condition.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male approximately 30-years-old with long brown hair. He stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds.
