The Los Angeles Police Department is offering a $50,000 reward for tips leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspected hit-and-run driver who stuck and killed a 62-year-old homeless man in the Boyle Heights area.
At approximately 10:40 p.m. on Sunday, June 20, the man was struck by a silver four-door sedan at the Grande Vista Avenue and Lorena Street.
The pedestrian was crossing the street when he was struck by the vehicle, police said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Video showed the scene was near a railroad bridge.
