LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A man who was beaten by another man in Koreatown died a week later at a hospital, and authorities Wednesday sought the public's help to find the suspect.

The 59-year-old victim was attacked about 7:40 p.m. Oct. 30 at Wilshire Boulevard and Kingsley Drive, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

"The initial investigation revealed the suspect physically assaulted the victim until witnesses intervened," police said in a statement. "The suspect fled on foot northbound on Kingsley Drive."
Paramedics took the injured man to a hospital, where he died on Monday, police said. Information on his identity was not immediately available.
Police released security images of the suspect, described as Black or Hispanic, 6-foot-1, 30-40 years of age and weighing about 160 pounds. He had tattoos on his chest and left shoulder, and near his right eye.
