The concert, named Kenny Loggins with Jim Messina Sittin' In, was scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

According to the Hollywood Bowl's website, there was "a case of COVID among the performers." Loggins tweeted that it was someone in the "touring in the entourage" who tested positive.

"We're disappointed too, but what’s most important is to keep everyone as safe as possible," the singer-songwriter said.

The Hollywood Bowl said tickets to the original July 15 and 16 concerts will be valid for the rescheduled shows.

The concert was set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the musical duo's Hollywood Bowl concert for their 1971 debut album, Sittin' In.
