LONG BEACH (KNX) --- Police are investigating the murder of a Long Beach man.
On Saturday just before 9:30 p.m., Long Beach officers were approached by citizen who told them of a shooting that occurred earlier.
Officers went to the area of 72nd Street and Atlantic Place and discovered a man found sitting in a parked car with numerous gunshot wounds in his upper body, according to a news release by the department.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
