In the first incident, the alleged sexual attacker approached a female victim from behind and sexually battered her, according to police.

The suspect generally follows a pattern where he jogs up to his victim while she is out walking alone, commits sexual battery and then runs from the area, police said. The attacks have taken place between Alamitos Avenue east to Redondo Avenue and Ocean Boulevard north to Anaheim Street.

Police describe the suspect as a Black man with a light complexion between 30 and 40 years old. He is of thin, athletic build and between 5 foot 10 inches and 6 feet. He has a neck tattoo of a “pinkish/red lip” and was seen wearing a black face covering, black or dark-colored adjustable hat, long sleeve shirts of various colors, jogging pants and black running shoes. Police believe he may drive a silver-colored sedan that has been parked near the attacks.
