The Los Angeles Pizza Alliance first came together during the L.A. fires last year. On Wednesday, they’re coming together to give out free pizzas to those in need.
Participating restaurants include Angel City Pizza, Pie Trap, Hasi Bread, and Captain Tony’s.
Chef and co-owner of Sunday Gravy Sol Basherrian helped out last year and is planning to again this time around.
“We offer the secondary support so since we're not a pizzeria,” he told KNX News. “We like to support the pizza artisans. So we go in there and we help. My sister last year, for example, she did deliveries of the pizzas, and then this year we're gonna be offering food support to the folks that are gonna be cooking the pizzas.”

All participants will go to one location to make all the pizzas, and then volunteerswill make the deliveries.
“This night is always gonna be about love and about helping people and really just at the same time like having the peers of our industry come together in such a giant way,” Basherrian said.
