Police in Reseda are searching for a suspect and motive in a shooting that left a 60-year-old man dead Monday.
KNX News’ Pete Demetriou reported that the search is underway for any witnesses and video evidence that may help detectives. People living on Jamieson Avenue in Reseda reported hearing gunfire at around 7:20 p.m. right before a man in his 60s was found on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim’s car was found peppered with bullets nearby.
Demetriou spoke to Brian Davis, a Los Angeles Police Department Valley homicide detective, about the nature of the shooting.
“It appears to be a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting,” Davis said. “The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.”
Witnesses reportedly said that a man in a white shirt and sunglasses was seen driving in an older model BMW Sedan towards Saticoy Street.
