SANTA MONICA (CNS) - Santa Monica police continued their search Friday for a missing 74-year-old man last seen in Santa Monica.
The California Highway Patrol issued a silver alert on behalf of the Santa Monica Police Department in the search for Carlos Zertuche. Authorities said he was last seen around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday near 21st Street and Santa Monica Boulevard.

"Zertuche may display aggressive behavior, use caution when approaching," according to the CHP alert.
Zertuche is white. He was described as 5-foot-9, weighing 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be on foot, and wearing a dark shirt and black pants.
Anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts was asked to call 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
