
A Silver Alert was issued for Riverside and Santa Barbara counties Tuesday for an 89-year-old man who was reported missing after last being seen in Santa Barbara.
Robert Pace was last seen at around 4 p.m. Monday in Montecito, according to the California High Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department.
Pace is white, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds, has white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt with blue stripes, navy blue pants, brown shoes and may be driving a gray 2017 Toyota Tacoma with a California license plate 11866E2.
Anyone who has seen or knows of Pace's whereabouts was asked to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the suspicious or disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
