An elderly man and his dog were hit and killed by someone driving a Maserati in Sherman Oaks on Thursday night.
It was reported at 11:35 p.m., according to LAPD Valley Traffic Division Detective Barragan.
“A 2009 gray Maserati model Quatport color in gray was traveling northbound on Woodman Avenue passing Moore Park when it struck an elderly male pedestrian walking his dog,” he told KNX News’ Emily Valdez.
The man died at the hospital the dog died at the scene.

Officers found the empty Maserati near Mammoth Ave. and Milbank St. without plates, and the registration had expired. so it's unclear who the owner is.
