
A man was arrested after he allegedly hijacked a Metro bus in downtown Los Angeles and caused the driver to crash it into the side of the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
It happened at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to KCAL News.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said the suspect flashed a gun at the Metro driver, which caused the driver to crash into two parked cars and the side of the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
The suspect tried to run away but was taken into custody. Police said they recovered a replica gun at the scene.
The Metro driver and a passenger inside one of the parked cars that was struck were injured.
