A man was arrested for allegedly stealing a forklift and crashing it into a building in downtown Los Angeles, authorities said Wednesday.
Officers were sent to Eighth Street and Broadway at about 7 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The man allegedly took the forklift from a nearby job site and crashed into the Apple Tower Theater, damaging the building, according to KCAL News.
The outlet also reported that the man knocked into the World Peace Bell and hit a street lamp.
No injuries were reported. The man's name was not immediately available.
