Officials say a 34-year-old man arrested in Washington for child exploitation may have additional victims in Orange County.

According tothe Washington State Patrol, Andre Smolyar was arrested in June and booked on promoting a suicide attempt, possession of depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, viewing depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, and communication with a minor for immoral purposes.
“During the course of the investigation, digital and physical evidence was obtained indicating that Smolyar may have committed additional forcible sexual assaults against minors,” officials said.

It was also revealed that Smolyar “operated under multiple online identities, which he may have used to communicate with minors.”
Officials believe that there are additional victims in Orange County, as well as Colorado Springs, Colorado.
