A 30-year-old man was charged Thursday with deliberately running a victim over with a vehicle in Garden Grove.
Thuan Cong Duong was charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon, both felonies, with sentencing enhancements for inflicting great bodily injury on the victim and attempted premeditated murder.

Duong is accused of running over a 32-year-old woman in the 12200 block of Brookhurst Street just before 3 a.m. Dec. 10, according to the Garden Grove Police Department.
The woman was seriously injured and was hospitalized, police said. A 35-year-old man with the woman at the time escaped injury.
Duong was arrested Tuesday and booked on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
