A man was shot and killed by Los Angeles Sheriff's deputies, authorities announced Thursday.

Homicide investigators responded to reports of a "deputy-involved" shooting last Thursday around 12:15 a.m. in the 15000 block of Paramount Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Paramedics arrived at the location and pronounced the suspect dead at the scene.
