A man was shot to death Sunday in front of a convenience store in the Westlake area of Los Angeles.

The shooting occurred about 10:30 p.m. in front of a 7-Eleven store at Wilshire Boulevard and Witmer Street, Los Angeles Police Department Officer David Cuellar told City News Service.
The man, believed about 50 years old, died at the scene, Cuellar said.
Suspect information was not immediately available, he said.
A second crime scene was set up a few blocks away, at Wilshire and Lucas Avenue, Cuellar said. He did not know the reason for the second crime scene.
