The suspect who allegedly stabbed a 25- to 30-year-old man to death on board a Metro A Line train is on the loose Wednesday.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a 911 call at 3:44 p.m. Tuesday to the University Park station in the 2400 block of South Flower Street, near Adams Boulevard, where they learned the victim went home after he was stabbed on the train, Officer Drake Madison told City News Service.
The victim later called the Los Angeles Fire Department which sent paramedics to his home. They took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The suspect ran from the scene in an unknown direction.
