Man found dead near South LA Metro station identified

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Authorities Monday identified a man who was found dead in South Los Angeles over the weekend.

The body was found near a Metro station at 54th Street and Van Ness Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

On Monday, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the man as Eddie Outley, 66, of Los Angeles.

The investigation was continuing to determine his cause of death.
